An OPEN worker writes,

This past week I was doing a quarterly review with one of our designers and one of the things he said to me was, “Boss, you need to be meaner to me, even if it’s just a little bit.” I said to him, “I don’t understand?” He went on to explain that there are no other bosses in Pakistan who treat employees the way we do and he’s worried that if he ever left, he wouldn’t be ready to work for such an obstinate boss.  This led us into an hour-long conversation on why because of what God has done in me I could never be a “mean” boss and how God Himself is a loving, kind, and compassionate God who isn’t out to get you, or use you, but rather looking for a personal relationship with you.

This is excellent plowing.

The key to opening ears is hearing Jesus’ words. The key to opening hearts is seeing Jesus life. Ears are truly opened through the eyes. People need to see Jesus first, then they will listen.
The Apostle John puts it this way: let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Be patient, be steadfast in plowing into peoples’ lives. Live out your faith. Hearts who see the difference will become eager to hear about Christ who is that difference.
